Thank you for the fair coverage of the "We Card" program in your Feb. 22 editorial.

As retailers, we are aware of our responsibilities to uphold the law and prevent the retail sale of tobacco to minors. The "We Card" program gives our clerks on the front lines the necessary skills to fulfill our responsibilities.
