LETTERS: ALL HUMAN BEINGS DEXERVE RESPECT

To the editor:

Matthew Shepard's death will not have been in vain if this tragedy can be the means of people learning that homosexuality is not a decision a person makes, but is a characteristic people are born with.

Will we ever learn that we are all human beings who deserve respect regardless of our skin color, our sexuality or our religion?
