To the editor:
This is directed at the women who wrote that child molesters get off too easy. Their hearts are hurting because they didn't forgive themselves. What they are doing is trying to blame someone when the someone is a problem which came from many.
Yes, they were victims not only of molestation, but also of not enough strength to have harmony. Strength for them could be freedom. Freedom will be understanding that their fathers did not make a proper choice probably because of the past. Maybe the past was poor economics, too many children to feed and women who shut the bedroom door thinking they were saving the lives of the children they already had but instead created molestation.
Forgive the past. Find the strength to realize that to find harmony we must encounter the forgiveness of the past. Victims and perpetrators are equal, and we must teach each other. The victims must take the hand of the man who did this and show him his mistake. It must be done with understanding. When they understand, they will be free themselves.
If their anger persists, they will find themselves in a society of selectivism. It will be 2098 with a society of cloned, blond, blue-eyed, 260-plus IQ robots. Who will be blamed then? I believe in freedom.
