To the editor:
State Sen. Matt Bartle of Lee's Summit, Mo., is willing to shut down the sex industry, but does he have a solution for the tax revenue he wants to take away? The $12 million loss in revenue would be nothing to sneeze at. Is the senator willing to take that out of his pocket? I suppose not.
The only people who would be punished over this kind of bill would be the taxpayer when he receives his next paycheck.
Think about it: Sex has been here since Adam and Eve and will be here long after we are gone. So who is going to lose but the taxpayer? I am not a supporter of sex clubs, or a visitor either. But let those who are help support our tax revenue.
