Jackson educators get special recognition

The four Jackson School District educators recently honored by the Jackson Chamber of Commerce exemplify the best of their profession. It's interesting to note that Carol Horst, Ken Markin, Jean Schweain and Dennis Parham all like what they do and get a great deal of satisfaction from the life's work they have chosen.

Parham, principal at R.O. Hawkins Junior High School, said it well: The students make the job enjoyable.

Indeed, the students of the Jackson district and their parents are privileged to have such dedication, experience and professionalism in their public schools.

Congratulations to each of the winners of this year's special recognition. And hearty congratulations to all the teachers in the Jackson district who prepare our children for full and rewarding lives.
