To the editor:
I am a state worker. I love my job. It doesn't bother me much that we haven't received any raises in three years. No job is perfect. I choose to work where I do. I know I have a job that is much better than many out there, and I was very thankful that we were off the day after Christmas and the day after Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful gesture to let us know we were being thought of and appreciated.
To the teachers who complain about their jobs: You also have a choice of where you work. We live in the wonderful United States where almost anything is possible. You are responsible for your own life. Look at all of the people who don't have jobs. Then decide how bad you really have it.
