Chick Hearn is bright star of broadcasters

Vivid and cherished memories of Chick Hearn, longtime broadcaster for the Los Angeles Lakers, have not faded but will remain for a very long time.

Hearn's career as a broadcaster stands out above all others in his field, drawing the attention and interest of fans far and wide to the NBA.

The unique and colorful expressions of Hearn set him apart from all others in his field. His warmth and kindness won him many hearts, leaving an indelible print among broadcasters and basketball. His strong determination and love of his career added much to his success and popularity.

Hearn will long be regarded as the voice of the Lakers and a legend in his own profession.

Today a bright star shines on Hollywood's Walk of Fame for Hearn. I am sure an even brighter star now shines for him in heaven.
