Elizabeth Eckford, one of the members of the historic Little Rock Nine — the students who integrated Little Rock's Central High School in 1957 — will address high school students and conduct an evening question-and-answer session Friday in Poplar Bluff. After a long period of depression, she now speaks about the emotional turmoil she suffered while helping start the movement for integration. The evening appearance will be free and open to the public at the Bloodworth House. The documentary "Little Rock Central: 50 Years Later," will start at 6 p.m., and Eckford's session will follow.
