The start of a new season is finally here. Saturday is the first day the Saxon Lutheran Memorial in Frohna, Mo., is open for the 2008 season. Visitors are welcome to come back from their winter break to once again explore history and experience life in the 18th century by touring through the log cabin village and living history museum. The Concordia Historical Institute of St. Louis owns the not-for-profit site, which has log cabins that are more than 100 years old and other buildings that make up the 15-building village. Country singer Dierks Bentley rolls into Farmington, with his Throttle Wide Open tour Friday at 8 p.m. Bucky Covington and Luke Bryan join him for the concert. Bentley is currently promoting his third CD "Long Trip Alone," which was nominated for a Grammy this year, as was the like-titled track from the CD. "American Idol" finalist Bucky Covington released his self-titled debut this year and Luke Bryan was named one of Billboard's new faces to watch in 2007.
