Annie, is back, and she'll be at the Carson Center, Paducah, Ky., at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday giving a whole new generation the chance to experience this classic musical about never giving up hope. Because of a huge response from the region to see the beloved musical, there are limited seats available in all price levels with a total of less than 200 tickets available for each performance. Tickets range from $31 to $55, and can be purchased through the Carson Center box office (270-450-4444) or online at www.thecarsoncenter.org.
Stix, Carbondale, Ill.
The Blizzard of Ozz is a well-established Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne tribute band featuring some of the best musicians from the Chicagoland area. They'll rock out at 9 p.m. Friday at Stix, 517 S. Illinois Ave. in Carbondale. The Blizzard of Ozz was formed in 1996 by guitarist Kevin M Buck. The band plays over sixty songs from Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, from giant hits like "Paranoid," "Iron Man," and "Crazy Train" to more obscure songs like "S.A.T.O," "A National Acrobat" and "Under the Sun." Tickets are $10. 21 up only. For a shorter drive, The Blizzard will blow into Shock's Pub in Scott City on Saturday.
