Celtic Thunder starts its 50-city tour of America in the heart of the country at the St. Louis Fox Theater. The new show features talented young male singers who range in age from 14 to 40 and hail from Ireland and Scotland. They perform an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado." The Pageant, St. Louis

Laugh a little this weekend with two comedy shows on two nights in St. Louis. Louis C.K. has more than 20 years of public hilarity on his resume. He's been on both sides of the camera, most recently appearing in "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins," and known best for his cult classic "Pootie Tang." For the Friday show, "Louis C.K.: Hilarious" doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $37.50. Saturday, Daniel Tosh brings special guest Matt Fulchiron. The Carson Center, Paducah, Ky.

Country star who dances with the stars, Sara Evans, will be at the Carson Center in Paducah, Ky., for a concert featuring her hits like "Born to Fly" and "Suds in a Bucket." The Booneville, Mo., native gets close to home with her Paducah concert, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets are $30, $40 and $55. Call the box office at 270-450-4444.
