Because it is sweet to love and be loved.

2. "Yesterday" -- The Beatles

Paul was my first idol.

3. "Pink Cadillac" -- Bruce Springsteen

Our oldest and I used to dance to this when she was a baby.

4. "Smack Water Jack" -- Carole King

I love all of Carole King's work, but this is my favorite.

5. "Jesus Christ Superstar" soundtrackThis musical gave a generation a new way to relate to religion.

6. "Forever Young" -- Rod Stewart

I hope our daughters can always stay this way.

7. "Take It Easy" -- Eagles

I find myself humming this from time to time.

8. "If I Should Fall Behind" -- Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band

This song touched my soul when I first heard it.

9. "Start the Commotion" -- Wiseguys

Every time that commercial comes on I feel like dancing. Plus it drives my 15-year-old nuts when I turn it on full blast.

10. "Christmas at the Ponderosa" -- The cast of "Bonanza"

Playing this during the holidays brings back memories of home and family.
