Hey everyone! For those of you that don't me, which is probably 90% of the student population, my name is Kathryn Canupp. I am the account executive for OFF! I am from Cape Girardeau and a Central High School graduate. I was a three time All State swimmer and eventually went on to be the assistant coach for the Central High School girls' swimming and diving team. I graduated from SEMO in '99 with a degree in Education and recently finished a continuing education program, for a paralegal certification, at SEMO as well. You may be wondering why I am selling ads instead of using my education degree or paralegal certification. Well, I'm the kind of person that likes to test the water of many different areas before I decide to take the big plunge. I like going to school anyway. Brain stimulation is a very good thing. Now, I like to do other things besides go to school. I promise! Just like most of you I can be found downtown or around town, in the big metropolis of Cape Girardeau (riiiight), on a Saturday night. During the week, most of my time is spent selling advertising for OFF!, Add Sheet, and other publications. This brings me to the point of why I'm writing this.
My job is selling advertising, which is very important, because without the advertisements, there would be no publication. So, is my job important? Absolutely!!!!!
OFF! is a special publication because it is designed and read by people just like you and me. All of us that are involved in publishing OFF! would like to invite you to help us out a bit with comments, articles and contributions, and especially the advertising because that is what I do!
Looking forward to working with you in 2002. - Kathryn Canupp
