Third Annual Cape Girardeau Ghost Storytelling
Storytellers Michael Reno Harrell and Jennifer Armstrong spin spooky tales using life experiences and folk tales. Harrell is a Grammy award winning songwriter, as well as a veteran storyteller and entertainer. Armstrong tells traditional and personal stories from her Celtic-American heritage and plays the Scottish bagpipe, fiddle, banjo and guitar. 7 p.m. today, River Campus
Haunted Train Car
The St. Louis Iron Mountain Railway takes visitors back to its roots with the story of the crash of the train into the swamps of Southeast Missouri and the death of all the passengers. Haunted Hall of Horrors
The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department presents seven nights of terror when the Arena Building is transformed into the Haunted Hall of Horrors with sadistic dentists and chain saw-wielding madmen. Black Forest Village
Black Forest has been transformed into a haunted ghost town for Halloween. Hike up a small hill to enter a labyrinth of ghouls and finish up in a hay maze. 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Black Forest Village, 2728 County Road 638
Boo at the Zoo
Prizes will be awarded for the animal costume contest. Zoo staff will give educational talks during animal meet-and-greets. Teen Night Out Halloween Party

Haunted Scavenger Hunt
Cerberus Training Options and Paintball has been taken over by the undead. Phobia Farm
Only fear grows on this family farm near Blodgett, Mo. New haunts have been added this year and are sure to give visitors chills. Tickets are sold from 7 to 10 p.m., but you wander at you leisure till the last ghoul spooks you. 7 p.m. Saturdays. Beggs Family Farm, 2319 Route U
DARK WOODS CEMETERY
