It's time to "Dare to be Scared" Again!
Everyone likes a good scare now and then. Here is a list of some of the scarriest and most fun places to go for Halloween fun.
Rocky Holler Haunted Hayrides - Oct. 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 - Halloween theme hayrides, scary and fun, family oriented. Hay filled trailer rides along a route with live monsters popping out of the dark. Call 243-6440
Haunted Ghost Town - Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.- Black Forest Village will host the Grim Reaper to guide you through numerous scarry themed rooms, a barn and a straw bale maze. Pumpkin Festival - Oct. 19-20 - Boyd Orchards - In Anna, Illinois, pick your own pumpkin, music, food, hayrides, barn full of fun. Call 618 -833-5533.
Haunted Hall of Horror - Oct. 24, 25, 26, 29, 31 from 7 to 10 p.m. - A.C. Brase Arena. Well-known monsters, as well as unexpected ghouls and surprises. Bring the whole family for a terrifying night of fun. Call 335-5421.
Halloween Express - Oct. 26, 27 at 11 a.m. - Ride the St. Louis Iron Mountain Railway Train with spooky surprises on board and a "Come in Costume" theme for passengers. Call 1-800-455-RAIL for ticket information.
