Firkin Friday: A firkin is a small cask and a unit of measurement, roughly a 9-gallon keg. It's also called a real ale because it is naturally carbonated in the serving container. A firkin gives the opportunity to take a great beer and add more ingredients, creating unique flavors and aromas. The brewery taps a cask ale with a mallet behind the bar at 4 p.m. the first Friday of every month. Enter your name with a firkin purchase for a chance to win a Minglewood T-shirt.
