The Crisp Museum will have an opening reception for Cleda Curtis' "From Portraits to Still Life" as part of the museum's inaugural Focus Exhibition. Focus will recognize a living artist in Southeast Missouri who has produced a sufficient body of work, has not had a solo museum exhibition and has made contributions of time and artistic talent to his or her community. As part of this exhibition and the Transition Spaces exhibition, five of Curtis' current and former students will have two works in the Transition Spaces and in her exhibition. The students are Zenon Duda, Renee Gordon, Ellen Hahs, Lynn Lancaster and Ann Ritter.

The Gallery: The Gallery will kick off the academic year by highlighting the artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits of Catapult Creative House students. The exhibit will allow students the opportunity to display and sell their works. All work on display will be for sale.
The Shoppe: The Shoppe will showcase Brickhouse Soaps. Brickhouse Soaps will bring its entire collection of all-natural personal-care products and will do a presentation on the natural ingredients used in them. There will be a giveaway of a $50 basket of Brickhouse Soaps products.
