The Artist Studio

The Artist Studio will be open with new work created by Judy Barks-Westrich and a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. when the summer schedule for workshops will also be available.

The gallery will feature the art of the Caldwell family -- Bill, Tara, Zac, Krystal and Veronica. Doug Rees will play music in the gardens and the art will be displayed in the gallery with opening reception from 5 to 10 p.m.

The gallery will extend the first show of David Strom, a photographer from Sikeston, Mo.

Arts Council

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host sculptures from visiting artist Adam Long from St. Charles, Mo., as well as new works from the Arts Co-op and the arts council drawing group. A reception with refreshments will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Owners Craig and Beth Thomas will host a street painting session on the pavement outside the gallery. Inside the gallery will be a display of images of past street paintings.

The shop on Broadway will have and welcome volunteers to paint and glaze pottery for the Empty Bowls Project.

Crisp Museum, River Campus

The photography of Ansel Adams is on display in "Ansel Adams: Masterworks." The museum will be open for visitors from 4 to 8 p.m.
