Glenda Manche of Charleston, Mo., will display a variety of paintings from acrylics and watercolors to paper collages. Durso Hills winery will provide refreshments. Portions of sales from the night and donations will benefit Melaina Cunningham and Friends Boundless Playground for Children of All Abilities.

River Campus Art Gallery

The 2009 Art Faculty Exhibition, on display through Nov. 26, will be open for a reception from 5 to 7 p.m.

Crisp Museum, River Campus

The art gallery in the museum will host Southeast Missouri State University art professor Ron Clayton with "Ron Clayton: Retrospective" featuring 20 years of paintings from early abstractions to representation and contemporary issues. Reception from 4 to 8 p.m. Clayton will speak at 6 p.m.

Black Door Gallery

Craig Thomas will exhibit new works consisting of plein-air paintings and figurative pieces.

Arts Council

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will have new works from the Artist Co-op and the start of the Mini Wall, with small, affordable art for holiday gifts. The Regional Juried Art Exhibition will be in the gallery with 70 works from different media.

The Artist Studio

The Artist Studio will showcase watercolor paintings created in a recent workshop by Denise Cramer and Tammy Sellers and new work by Judy Barks-Westrich. First Friday reception from 5 to 9 p.m.
