Arts Council of Southeast Missouri

The arts council will host the Regions Juried Exhibition, formerly known as Borders, with entries from Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee and Kentucky. M. Charles Rhinehart of Pierce City, Mo., served as juror.

In the Jean A. Chapman Gallery new work from the Visual Arts Cooperative will be on display.

Edward Bernard Gallery

Southern Illinois native turned Oklahoma artist Jerry Piper returns to demonstrate his portrait, landscape and abstract painting techniques for the EB crowd.

New holiday art glass will also be featured.

Gallery open from noon to 9 p.m.

Westray Gallery -- Cat Ranch Art Guild

The Westray Gallery hosts new work from Cat Ranch Art Guild members. Open from noon to 9 p.m.

Buckner Brewing Co. River Room

Rochelle Steffen displays a solo show of her mixed media pieces, photos and fibers. The exhibition will be open from 6 to 10 p.m.

Garden Gallery

The Garden Gallery will host 25 works of fiber art from its Fiber Art Competition, in which the gallery solicited entries from fiber artists. Susan Leslie Lumsden of Thayer, Mo., served as juror.

The gallery will be open from noon to 9 p.m. with awards presented at 7 p.m.

The Artist Studio

Sculptures by artist and instructor Sheila Bohannon made from steel, copper and brass will be featured along with new work by studio owner Judy Barks-Westrich. A reception will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Untitled

Rochelle Steffen, Nathan Pierce, Tim Vollink and Stu Hao display their work under the name "Untitled" at a new gallery on Main Street. They're accepting new artists each month. The gallery will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.
