Three stars (out of four)
"Meet the Robinsons" is Disney's newest animated release. The story is of a young orphan who considers himself an inventor. As he's showing off his latest invention at a science fair, he meets a time traveler and goes to the future.
As is the typical storyline in any movie involving time travel, things go awry and the future as it was is threatened to be no more. In the end, all becomes well with the world.
While the movie isn't going to be on Disney's "most memorable" list, like "The Lion King" or "Finding Nemo," it is good family entertainment. As a mom with two school-aged children and a preschooler, it's hard to find a movie the whole family enjoys. All three of my children were engaged the whole time. And even mom was amused by the story line.
