INDIO, Calif. -- Attention, Little Monsters: Lady Gaga is coming to Coachella. The diva announced Tuesday night she will perform at the music festival for both weekends in April. Gaga will take the headlining spot that had been Beyonce's; pregnant with twins, the superstar announced last week her doctors recommended she bow out. She rescheduled her performance for next year. Gaga is set to launch her "Joanne" world tour this summer, so Coachella will be a warmup of sorts. She may have given fans a peek of what to expect with her Super Bowl performance in February. Besides Gaga, other performers at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, include Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar.
NEW YORK -- Alec Baldwin has found a new way to mock Donald Trump. Baldwin is teaming with author Kurt Andersen on the satirical book "You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump," Penguin Press announced Wednesday. The book is scheduled to come out Nov. 7, almost exactly a year to the day after Trump stunned the world by being elected president and ensured more appearances by Baldwin as Trump on "Saturday Night Live." Baldwin is having a busy year as a writer. His memoir, "Nevertheless," comes out in April.
NEW YORK -- Rodney Dangerfield made a career out of getting "no respect." His widow said he's not getting much in death, either. NY1 television said Joan Dangerfield doesn't think a mural in the comedian's old New York City neighborhood does him justice. Artist Francesca Robicci painted the mural last year in Queens, working from a photo the widow provided. Dangerfield also donated $1,000 toward the project, which was commissioned by a community group. A letter from her lawyer calls the image "less than flattering" and states Rodney Dangerfield "deserves nothing but the highest respect." The artist said she worked for free and is heartbroken but is willing to return from Italy to do cosmetic work. Joan Dangerfield's lawyer said the two sides will discuss it. Rodney Dangerfield died in 2004 at 82.
