The Show Me Center announced this week that the band Daughtry, fronted by former "American Idol" star Chris Daughtry, will perform at the Show Me Center at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The show is being presented by the Southeast Missouri State University Student Activities Council.
Daughtry's self-titled debut sold more than 1 million copies in just five weeks of release late last year, and has reached sales of more than 4 million worldwide. The band's singles include such hits as "Home" and "What I Want."
The Daughtry concert will be the third of the Show Me Center's 20th anniversary year, following country songwriter/comedian Rodney Carrington on Oct. 20 and Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy on Nov. 11.
Tickets for the Daughtry show go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Call the Show Me Center at 651-5000 or visit www.showmecenter.biz.
