CARBONDALE, ll. -- The 2001-2002 season at Shryock Auditorium will include performances by the Count Basie Orchestra, the Moscow Ballet, a tribute to the Beatles and the Roy Clark Christmas show.

Other shows on the bill include productions of "Funny Girl" and "Big River," along with performances by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra and by violinist Daniel Heifetz.

Feb. 16, Lazer Vaudeville, a show combining lasers, juggling, black-light illusions and acrobatics.

Feb. 21, Three Mo' Tenors, a show celebrating the African-American tenor voice.

Feb. 25, "Big River" with score by Roger Miller.

March 5, Jose Limon Dance Company: Limon & Jazz combines jazz and modern dance with music by Miles Davis and the Billy Taylor Trio.

March 23, Daniel Heifetz and the Classical Band. The violinist interprets Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" with words and music.

April 9, the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra performs Jean Silbelius' First Symphony.

April 25, Buddy: "The Buddy Holly Story."

April 28, Riders in the Sky, an evening of family entertainment with the Grammy-winning group.
