'The Notebook'

An elderly man visits a woman in a nursing home and reads her a story about a young couple, Noah and Allie, who spend one summer together but become separated by World War II. When Noah returns to town 14 years later, he briefly reunites with Allie, who is engaged to be married. Rated PG-13 for some sexuality, running time 124 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

'Spider-Man 2'

Starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and J.K. Simmons. Peter Parker is still coming to terms with his dual identity as the web-slinging crime superhero Spider-Man. Now in college, his relationships with the people he cares most about are crumbling. 'Two Brothers'

Starring Guy Pearce, Christian Clavier and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu. Twin tigers, one bold and one shy, are born in a city of ruins in French Indochina and are soon captured. The bold brother is forced to become a circus performer, while the shy sibling becomes the companion of a governor's son. But an accident leads the governor to sell the animal to an adventurer, who reunites the beasts as combatants pitted against each other in a fighting match. Rated PG for mild violence, running time 105 minutes. (Town Plaza Cinema)

'White Chicks'

Starring Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Jaime King, Frankie Faison, Lochlyn Munro and John Heard. Two FBI agents take on a job guarding the Wilton sisters, two New York City hotel heiresses, from a serial kidnapper. They fail, and the two women are abducted. The agents then go undercover, dressing up as the titular "white chicks" to solve the crime and rescue the victims. Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and some drug content, running time 105 minutes. (Town Plaza Cinema)
