'Cheaper by the Dozen'Starring Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Tom Welling, Hilary Duff, Piper Perabo, and Kevin Schmidt. This loose remake of the 1950 Walter Lang film tells the story of small-town college football coach Tom Baker, who tries to run his wacky brood (a gaggle of patience-trying kids) according to the same principles he uses with his team. When Tom gets offered a better job coaching at a major university, he and his wife, Kate, must move the entire family. Chaos rules, because Kate is on the road promoting her just-published memoir, leaving Tom in charge of the out-of-control clan and overwhelmed with work, at home and away from it. Rated PG for language and some thematic elements. (West Park Cine)

'Cold Mountain'Starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman, Renée Zellweger, Natalie Portman, Brendan Gleeson, Kathy Baker, Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Giovanni Ribisi, and Jack White. The story focuses on a wounded Civil War soldier, Inman, who gets up from what doctors suspected was his deathbed and begins the long, difficult walk home to Cold Mountain, N.C., so he can be with the woman he loves and left behind three years earlier, Ada. Inman encounters many obstacles along the way. Ada, heartbroken, lonely, and struggling to care for her deceased dad's farm, receives a helping hand in the form of a sassy, hard-working wanderer, who is estranged from her fiddle-playing father. Rated R for violence and sexuality, 150 minutes. (Town Plaza Cinema)

'Peter Pan'Starring Jason Isaacs, Jeremy Sumpter, Olivia Williams, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Ludivine Sagnier, Lynne Redgrave, and Richard Briers. One night, young London siblings Wendy, John, and Michael Darling encounter a strange flying boy named Peter Pan. He invites them to come to Neverland, a place without adult supervision and full of freedom. A fairy named Tink gives them the power to fly, and soon they're soaring off to Neverland, where they explore with Peter and his mates, the Lost Boys. But the fun and games come to a stop when they face a mean band of pirates, led by the nasty Captain Hook, an evil man who looks a lot like their dad. Rated PG for adventure action sequences and peril, 105 minutes. (Town Plaza Cinema)
