Best up: Stand-up comedian Mike Trainor

Whiskey River takes a turn toward comedy Saturday with Mike Trainor. Trainor's comedy has been in Maxim magazine, on collegehumor.com, Sirius Satellite Radio and TruTV where he currently hosts the series "The Smoking Gun Presents." The show makes fun of dumb criminals, drivers and people in general. Trainor will perform his original comedy from 8 to 10 p.m. at Whiskey River on Independence Street. Admission is $10 at the door. Soundsystem will play music after Trainor's act.
