The music of Whiskey Shivers, a quintet hailing from Austin, Texas, has been called everything from "trashgrass" to "hardcore roots" to "crazy-assed redneck music." With an upright bass, fiddle, washboard, banjo and guitar, the five play a combination of hillbilly songs, traditional country and bluegrass and Appalachian mountain music.
