The Tone Def All-Stars will be throwing a benefit concert for the Cape Girardeau Roller Girls at 9 p.m. Aug. 27 at Breakaway's Bar and Billiards, 15 N. Main St. Tone Def plays music ranging from Wu-Tang Clan covers to reggae to rock, and has been touring the Main Street music scene for 10 years. The band is made up of Darren Burgfeld on trombone and vocals, Matt Pyeatte on guitar, Patrick Koetting on bass and Ron Ruppel on drums. The roller girls are raising money for their roller derby team -- the first of its kind in Cape Girardeau. The show will also feature Guy Morgan and the 2nd State Butchers. The show is open to guests 21 and older, and has a minium $5 donation at the door. For more information, call 335-9449.
