The Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra will take the stage for the last time before its summer break with its Symphonic Spectacular concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. The orchestra will premiere "Two Brothers," a composition based on the Civil War and narrated by Dr. Frank Nickell and Dr. Chris Goeke. The orchestra from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale will join local musicians to put almost 100 musicians on stage at one time.
