Best bet: SEMO Percussion Ensemble

On the heels of this week's traveling performance of "Blast!" the Southeast Missouri State University Percussion Ensemble will play a drums-only concert Tuesday. The show features traditional and classic percussion tunes. The Golden Eagles Marching Band drum line -- a 30-strong group of percussionists -- will perform during the second half of the concert. The percussion ensemble will also play an arrangement of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Movement 1. The concert shows the sounds and emotions percussion can produce. The Percussion Ensemble Fall Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Bedell Performance Hall.
