Best bet: Roller derby doubleheader

The Cape Girardeau Roller Girls will compete against the West Kentucky Rockin' Rollers and then take on the Red River Sirens. Tickets for this double-the-fun bout are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local Special Olympics. Buy tickets online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/184912. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. First bout starts at 6:20. Join the roller girls at an after party at Pitters Lounge with music by Party Nate at 9:30 p.m.
