Murder plots can be funny, and the current River City Players dinner theater production, "Let's Murder Marsha," aims to prove it.
Marsha stumbles upon her husband and other friends plotting something. With an armory of murder-mystery novels and an active imagination, she immediately assumes they're plotting to kill her -- and only days before her birthday.
Mike Craig makes his directorial debut with a cast of River City familiars spouting laugh lines and attempting to sort out this crazy scheme concocted by Marsha.
"Let's Murder Marsha" is the first River City Players 2010 production and, as usual, includes a buffet dinner in the Yacht Club above Port Cape.
The play opens today and continues Saturday and March 12 and 13. Doors and bar open at 6:30 The dinner starts at 7 p.m., play starts 8 p.m. A show-only performance will be at 7 p.m. March 11.
