Best Bet: Raise the Woof event Saturday

The Raise the Woof comedy show will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday at Lawless Harley-Davidson, 2100 E. Outer Road in Scott City. Three comedians -- James Ulogh, Chase Mayers and a surprise guest comedian -- will perform. The Cape Girardeau Roller Derby girls will be there to help run the event. Tickets for the event are $35 per person and will include dinner at 6 p.m., with the show at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. There will be a cash bar, a small silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and chocolate and popcorn bars. Tickets may be purchased at Mississippi Mutts, 609 Broadway in Cape Girardeau, or the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive in Cape Girardeau. Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
