Best bet: Mountain Sprout

The Big Idea will play at Buckner Brewing Co. tonight, along with travelin' band Mountain Sprout. The Big Idea will open it up with its familiar originals, then Mountain Sprout will introduce its energetic rockabilly roots music with Grayson VanSickle on banjo and vocals, Adam Waggs on guitar, Daniel Redmond on stand-up bass and Blayne Thiebaud on fiddle. This roots music sprouts from the Ozarks and has picked its way into dozens of venues around the country. The Big Idea starts the show at 8 p.m. today. Cover is $8 for 21 and over; $10 for 18 to 20.
