Best Bet: Mini-Comic Con to be held at River Campus

In partnership with Cape Comic Con and coinciding with the art exhibition "Heroes, Villains, Monsters," the Cape Mini-Comic Con will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Crisp Museum at the River Campus, 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau. Admission is free, and the event will include an artist talk, panel discussions, a music performance, vendors, artists, displays, a comic-art drawing contest and display. There also will be a comic contest for children ages 8 to 15 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Winning artwork will be exhibited through Jan. 29.
