Best bet: Avenged Sevenfold concert

Just hours after the Show Me Center says goodbye to the glitter and sequins of the circus, it will welcome the thrashing and banging of the "Welcome to the Family" tour featuring Three Days Grace, Sevendust and headlined by Avenged Sevenfold. The tour has been rocking South America recently and will play several U.S. shows before heading to Europe. Avenged Sevenfold is promoting its new album and title track "Nightmare." The show starts at 7 p.m. Monday at the Show Me Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. or 5:45 for VIP ticketholders. Tickets are $44.75 for the floor, $39.75 for reserved lower level and a small amount of back corner tickets for $25.
