Best Bet 4/10/15: Pulitzer winner reading

Stephen Dunn, one of America's most renowned poets and winner of the Pulitzer Prize, the James Wright Award, an Academy Award for Literature and the National Poetry Series Prize, will present a reading of his work, free and open to the public, at 7 p.m. Thursday at Rose Theatre at Southeast Missouri State University. His appearance is part of the Nilsen Visiting Writer Series. Dunn has been a professional basketball player, a first-generation college student, an ad man for Nabisco, an editor and a creative writing professor. A book signing will follow the reading.
