'Fracture'

Starring Anthony Hopkins, David Strathairn, Ryan Gosling, Billy Burke, Rosamund Pike and Embeth Davidtz. The good news: The man who killed his wife confesses instantly, seemingly making a young assistant district attorney's life much easier. The bad news: The arresting police officer was having an affair with the dead wife, which complicates matters a wee bit, especially since there's no evidence that the murderer even did the job. Rated R for language and some violent content, running time 112 minutes. (Cape West Cine)

'The Hoax'

Starring Richard Gere, Michael J. Burg, Julie Delpy, Hope Davis, Marcia Gay Harden and Alfred Molina. Based on the controversial true story, Clifford Irving (Gere) was a failed writer in the 1970s who couldn't sell a book to save his life. That is, until he claimed reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes dictated his life to him, which was, of course, a flat-out lie. As the autobiography of Howard Hughes was published and became an instant hit, Irving has to continue to spin an increasingly convoluted web of lies to prove his book was authentic. 'In the Land of Women'

Starring Meg Ryan, Adam Brody, Kristen Stewart, Makenzie Vega, Clark Gregg and Elena Anaya. Carter Webb gets dumped by the love of his life, Sophia, leaves Los Angeles, and escapes to suburban Michigan to care for his ailing grandmother. There, he befriends a single mom and her two daughters and gets caught up in their complicated family that make his own seem so small and inconsequential. 'Vacancy'

Starring Kate Beckinsale, Luke Wilson, Frank Whaley and Ethan Embry. A young married couple is hoping to spend a romantic getaway together, but instead they find themselves trapped in a creepy motel room and the stars of a soon-to-be-made snuff film. During the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fight to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army in an effort to inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy. 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon'

Starring the voices of Matt Maiellero, Dave Willis, Dana Snyder, Carey Means, Andy Merrill and Bruce Campbell. If you ever wanted to know the secret origins of Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake, this might be the place to find out. The three foodstuffs find the universe is threatened by a piece of exercise equipment and they do their best to have absolutely nothing to do with it. Based on the hit Adult Swim TV cartoon. 'Are We Done Yet?'

Starring Ice Cube, Nia Long, Aleisha Allen, Philip Daniel Bolden and John C. McGinley. In this sequel to "Are We There Yet?", a couple wants to move to the suburbs for a better life in which to raise their two children. However, after purchasing a "fixer-upper" that needs more "fixer" than they originally imagined, they fall victim to an unscrupulous contractor who never seems to get the job done. 'Blades of Glory'

Starring Will Ferrell, Jon Heder, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Jenna Fischera and Craig T. Nelson. Two disgraced Olympic ice skaters banned from the sport because of drug use find a way to sneak back into the competition. 'Disturbia'

Starring Shia LaBeouf, Sarah Roemer, Carrie-Anne Moss, David Morse and Aaron Yoo. Distressed by his father's untimely death, a teenager (Shia LaBeouf) begins acting out and soon finds himself under house arrest after getting into trouble one too many times. To help pass the time stuck indoors, he begins spying on his neighbors, only to become convinced that the guy living across the street is killing young women. 'Firehouse Dog'

Starring Josh Hutcherson, Bruce Greenwood, Bree Turner, Dash Mihok and Steven Culp. Hollywood's hottest stunt dog gets lost during a shoot and befriends a lonely child and his single dad, eventually becoming the beloved mascot of the local fire station. 'Grindhouse'

Starring Rose McGowan, Freddy Rodriguez, Josh Brolin, Marley Shelton, Jeff Fahey, Michael Biehn and Kurt Russell. Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez have teamed up for this throwback to the good ol' days when you could see two sleazy exploitation films for the price of one ticket. Rodriguez directs "Planet Terror," an over-the-top tale of a small town trying to survive an outbreak of zombies; while Tarantino's "Death Proof" stars Kurt Russell as a serial killing maniac who stalks beautiful women. 'The Last Mimzy'

A box of toys from the future gives a couple of children superpowers, which they use to terrorize their parents and teachers. 'Meet the Robinsons'

Starring the voices of Angela Bassett, Daniel Hansen, Wesley Singerman, Spencer Fox, Adam West and Tom Selleck. Twelve-year-old Lewis, a born inventor, is also an orphan who desperately wants to find his birth family. A mysterious stranger, Wilbur Robinson, claims he can take Lewis to meet them. 'Pathfinder'

Set during troubled times as a legion of Vikings battles against tribes of American Indians, Pathfinder follows a young Viking boy who mistakenly strays into enemy territory and is raised by his American Indian foes. 'Perfect Stranger'
