A slacker dude in his 30s (McConaughey) is lured into finally leaving home when his parents (Bates, Bradshaw) hire a hottie (Parker) to pose as the girl of his dreams and lure him out of the house. Aaron Stanford, Ted Levine and Kathleen Quinlan. A young man (Stanford) and his family travel to the desert to investigate a silver mine they've inherited only to discover that the surrounding area is inhabited by a clan of lunatics. Torture, imprisonment and bloodshed ensue. Rated R for strong gruesome violence and terror throughout, and for language, running time 105 minutes.
Tim Allen, Kristin Davis, Craig Kilborn and Robert Downey Jr. This remake of the 1959 flick tells the story of a lawyer who occasionally transforms into, well, a large, shaggy sheepdog. Needless to say, the spontaneous changes don't help his legal career, but they do help him learn how to be a better family man. Rated PG for mild and rude humor, running time 99 minutes.
Starring Bruce Willis, Mos Def and David Morse. A New York detective is assigned to escort a petty criminal from the precinct to the courthouse. But the 16-block journey becomes challenging when one of his old partners tries to stop them. Rated PG-13 for violence, intense sequences of action and some strong language, running time 105 minutes. A trio of scientist explorers must leave behind their beloved team of sled dogs after a sudden accident that strands them in extreme Antarctic weather. But one man can't let his dog team face certain death, so he turns back to rescue them. The film is inspired by the events of a 1957 Japanese expedition to the Antarctic.
