Choral union seeks voices for upcoming season
The Southeast Missouri State University Choral Union, a non-auditioned ensemble open to community and collegiate singers, is looking for new members for all vocal sections for its 2005-2006 concert season. The season will include two performances, a concert Nov. 29 with the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra of Francis Poulenc's "Gloria," and a May 2 concert with the orchestra of Mozart's Requiem. The Worship Dance Camp with Grace, under the direction of Dana Goodin Vanoni of the Dance Theatre Ensemble of Carnago, Italy, will present its culminating performance Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Rose Theatre on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. The performance, titled "Not So Far to Where You Are," is a performance of religious dance featuring members of the Italian dance ensemble and dance camp students.
