Dance studio to hold hip-hop master class

Rhymer's to host anniversary party

Rhymer's on the Plaza will celebrate its seven-year anniversary beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday at the bar, 10 S. Plaza Way in Cape Girardeau. The event will include a cornhole tournament, free barbecue starting at 5 p.m. and more. Live music by The Intention will begin at 9 p.m.

Jerry Ford Orchestra to play at The Venue

The Jerry Ford Orchestra will perform "A Night at the Purple Crackle" at 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at The Venue, 80 S. Plaza Way in Cape Girardeau. The Jerry Ford Orchestra played often at the Purple Crackle in East Cape Girardeau, Illinois, from the 1960s through the 1980s.
