Catapult calls for Faulkner entries

The Gallery at Catapult Creative House is seeking entries for its first National Juried Exhibition in conjunction with the Center for Faulkner Studies at Southeast Missouri State University. The exhibition is searching for submissions that highlight the experimental styles of authors William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway for an exhibition as part of the International Faulkner Conference from Oct. 20 through 22. The exhibition will continue during October and November. Up to three entries are free to submit and should be emailed to catapultgallery@gmail.com. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. July 31. Blues artist Anni Piper to visit Cape

As part of her "More Guitars Than Friends" summer 2016 U.S. tour, blues artist Anni Piper will perform at 7 p.m. July 31 at Underberg House Concerts, 1122 Patricia St. in Cape Girardeau.
