Latini performs today at Tunes at Twilight

Tunes at Twilight features John Latini at 7 p.m. today at the Common Pleas Courthouse gazebo. Latini plays the blues and a bit of folk. Bring lawn chairs and refreshments to this free weekly outdoor concert. In case of rain, Tunes moves to the Rose Theatre on Southeast Missouri State University's main campus.

Singer-actor Ronny Cox performs at Dockside

Underberg House Concerts will present a concert by singer-songwriter Ronny Cox from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dockside, 4 N. Spanish St. Cox's latest album, "Songs With Repercussions," features an acoustic mix of folk, Western, jazz and blues. Though he's released seven albums, Cox is better known as an actor; his credits include "Deliverance," "Beverly Hills Cop II" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation." Tickets for the concert are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and are available at Shivelbine's Music, Pmac Music, Broadway Books and Roasting Co., Ms. Muffin's Cafe, Westray Studio and through Underberg House Concerts by calling 334-7692 or emailing houseconcerts@hotmail.com.

Sikeston museum offers summer fun

SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Depot Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The current art exhibit is "And Now? Something Different." It features Barbi Myres, Craig Thomas, Courtney Robertson and Mike Clippard. "Let There Be Light" is a special exhibit of historical lighting on loan from the St. Louis Science Center.
