Peace and Justice kicks off June with house concert
The SEMO Coalition for Peace and Justice will kick off the month with a performance by Riot Folk members Adhamh Roland and Brenna Sahatjian at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at 228 Merriwether St., Apt. 4. Roland and Sahatjian are both members of the Riot Folk music collective, a group of radical folk artists specializing in social and political activism. The River City Players Community Theatre group will hold auditions at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Port Cape Girardeau for its upcoming bicentennial production "Young Louis Lorimier" by Dr. Roseanna Whitlow.
