Arts Council garage sale on Saturday
The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri is holding a garage sale starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Plaza Galleria on Independence Street in Cape Girardeau. The sale is the group's final fund-raiser of the fiscal year. Donations of items to sell will be accepted today at the Plaza Galleria.
Muny's Lichtenstein Plaza dedication on MondayThe Muny in St. Louis will hold a dedication ceremony for the new Lichtenstein Plaza from 12:45 to 1:40 p.m. Monday. Arts Council seeking design proposalsThe Missouri Arts Council is looking for artists from all over the state to submit design proposals for the 2005 Missouri Arts Awards. The awards are presented to individuals or organizations that have made an positive impact on Missouri's cultural climate. Submissions must be postmarked by June 30, and artists must submit an application form, sketches that illustrate their idea for the award, a typed letter of intent describing their ideas and a resume.
