Scholarship benefit concert at Breakaway's

Breakaways Bar & Billiards in downtown Cape Girardeau will host a benefit for the Tommy DeWolf Musician's Scholarship Fund on Saturday, beginning at 8 p.m. The event will feature live music by Dazy Cutter, Ninth Life and Drivin' Rain. The cost is $5 at the door.

Art, wine fair coming to Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Downtown Art and Wine Fair is coming back to the Historic Town Square on May 21. Starting at 3 p.m., attendees will sample local wines, hear local music and meet artists from all over the region. Entry to the tasting area is $10. For those wishing to see the art and enjoy the music, but choose not to drink wine, there is a $2 cover charge.
