SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Depot Museum will host the 35th annual High School Student Art Show through April 30, featuring 176 pieces of art from students from Southeast Missouri high schools. The art can be seen during museum hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. An awards reception will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 20. The Department of Theatre and Dance at Southeast Missouri State University will present Neil Simon's "Rumors," a play about four couples who attend a dinner party in the deputy mayor's posh New York City townhouse. He concocts a cover-up when he accidentally shoots himself in the ear at the same time his wife and servants go missing. The play, which is not suitable for children, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. March 24 to 27 and 2 p.m. March 28 in the Rust Flexible Theatre.
