Rotary Club trivia night scheduled

The Cape Girardeau Rotary Club will host a trivia night tonight. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., and trivia starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau Events Center, 777 N. Boy Scout trivia night, auction set

Friends of Troop 4 will host a trivia night and silent auction tonight at the Scout Activity Building, 232 Broadway in Cape Girardeau. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and trivia will start at 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and teams can have up to eight members. Light refreshments will be for sale, or participants can bring their own. '60s DJ Dance Party to be tonight

A '60s DJ Dance Party will be from 7 to 10 p.m. today at Tunes and Tutus LLC., 129 W. Yoakum Ave. in Chaffee, Missouri. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Guest artist recital Sunday

Jennifer Hayghe will perform a piano recital at 3 p.m. Sunday at Shuck Recital Hall at the River Campus, 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau. Tickets cost $10.

Memoir writing group will meet

This informal gathering for people looking to write about life experiences for fun or publication helps give advice or feedback. The group meets from 10 a.m. to noon the second Monday of each month in the Penzel Conference Room at the Cape Girardeau Public Library, 711 N. Clark Ave. in Cape Girardeau. KRCU on Tap for Monday

KRCU on Tap, which will be Monday at Minglewood Brewery, 121 Broadway in Cape Girardeau, is an evening of music, food, drinks, door prizes and more. Tickets cost $30 and include event access; a pint of beer; 10-inch, one topping pizza; and entry into door-prize drawings. Performers will be The Ukes of Hazzard, Ivas John and Bruce Zimmerman. Red Light Night to be March 23

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will hold the season's first Red Light Night at 7 p.m. March 23 at 16 N. Spanish St. in Cape Girardeau. The topic will be "Break the Binary" featuring Rane Belling and will explore society's mislabeling of gender identity. Rane Belling will perform a spoken-word piece highlighting their struggles. Red Light Night is a series of after-hours discussions on controversial or taboo topics in the arts. Please note, topics are intended for a mature audience. Arts Council calls for artists

The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host Flights of Fantasy, its annual juried exhibit, from June through July. Artists should incorporate science fiction, fantasy and the surreal in their works. The exhibition welcomes original artwork of all media from artists across the United States. The entry deadline is April 15. Artists will be notified May 10. The exhibition will be on display June 2 through July 29 at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, 16 N.
