Christmas Dream Concert planned

CrossRoads Fellowship Church will present a contemporary Christmas concert with music and synchronized lights at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the church, 4400 E. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson. The event is free and open to the public.

Great Books discussion group set

Book signing to be held

Local author Cindy McDermott will have a book signing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 17 at The Book Rack, 50 S. Plaza Way in Cape Girardeau. Her book, titled "Working with Really Stupid People: The Executives," follows main character Jill Fontaine on another crazy adventure.
